Dr. Faizan Cheema

Spending 15 years of his earliest life in Kuwait, where he received his basic education and professional one in Pakistan later on He has been an eye witness and victim of Kuwait-Iraq gulf war.

The pioneer RJ of FM103, riding on the wave since its birth. Person with a lot of mood swings, basically a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with an M.Phil and a PhD in Molecular Genetics with awe-inspiring work on the radio and a fraction of it on television as well. A person of his own kind, who believes that science too can be looked artistically and art too has so much science in it. You know him for his ‘Driving Force’.

She has been working in radio since 2007, its been three years that she z performing stupendously in this field, her parents are from India, Delhi, she was born in Multan to a family of Hashmi, her Mother was lawyer in high court , and currently her father is serving as an A.V.P Assistant vice president of Habib bank Multan. Anxar khaliq (ex rj of 103)was the one who introduced this multitalented and a capable person,in the world of radio, her schooling is from school of Mother Teresa, Benazir Bhutto, Sonia Gandhi, Mrs. Golda mere, yes her school is “ St, Mary’s Convent High school”, She  passed her intermediate from “ Punjab college, Multan’’ where she got first position in English essay writing competition, and 2^nd prize in “ Naat “, n so many prizes in singing and debates.

Now she is doing honors in English Literature and Linguistics from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, She has conducted numerous functions in her university as a lead speaker, in bzu she performed as the President of Dramatic Club for one year and as a Gen-secretary for 3 years (2006-2010). Well by profession im a Chemical Engineer in which I have pursued a carrier working for ICI Pakistan however I’ve always had knack towards the entertainment scene. It’s safe to say that I’ve worked with all the big fish in the radio industry. I worked with City Fm 89 in NOV,05 took a break in between and then joined Radio1Fm91 worked there for about Two & half years from MAY,07 to JAN,10. I needed change so I joined Mast Fm103 in APR, 10 and its been amazing ever since. Great team of techs working with you and the producers are definitely ALL THAT =) .

Better know as Me Myself and I the Queen of Radio and the Hellloooooooo Karrrrrrrrachi Girl, Has been rocking the airwaves of radio since 2000 till date started from the pioneers of radio Fm 100 then move to the mastana world i.e Mast FM 103 where the voice of the nation was one of the first voices of Mast Fm 103 to  Launch and bring Mast 103 FM Live ON AIR with blessings and good wishes……. A very down to earth person loved by all no matter what cast or creed u hold she believes in ONE 4 ALL, coz where there is love, hatred is not wanted basically NO entry simple. She love her work being a DJ and that proves its whenever she on air controlling with a difference that is felt and heard may it be back to back muzix or challenges or chat talk shows she know how to mix blend and attract u once she is on the dail of 103 Fm…………I would say hearing is believing Dearooooooooo……

Well for her I guess quality does matter she believes in good vocals and quality productive artists like there are many but top of the line is West life, kenny Roggers, Vince Gill, Akon, Chris Allen, David Gutte, jennifer Rush, Shania twin  but non can beat this singer Whitney Huston a soulful singer.  which is her favourite.

Jahanzaib Zebi

His name is Janhanzaib but radio name is Zebi .He was born in Karachi on 19^th Oct. He has done his MCS. After that he has been working with Mast FM 103 since July, 2004 and right now serving as Station Manager. He is very determined for his aims. He is a young motivated, vigorous and passionate guy. He says Radio FM 103 is my passion……:)

This is the updated version of him. He looks like a man and he is still a Human. His mostly friends think that he is the latest updated version of Shaitan. He likes to eat eat eat and eat but don't worry he is not fat, just bit over weight, is this sound like he is Fat? He is the greatest drinker in the history, Nahhhh nahhh not alcohol he just loves soft drinks & beverages, does it really sound weird that he didn't really remember when he drank water last time!
He likes people who have good sense of humor, intellectual, innovative, humble, hard working, smart enough and if they have these qualities mmmmm... He doesn't mind. People's moods often get on and off, it depends on their own internal approach, He knows it seems like he is stupid, who cares? He likes people who can share their happiness as well sadness.
He just loves music, as music is the food of love. For him music is not only just an entertainment because one can express all the feelings through music. Music is one of his greatest passions. He is gloomy, He is in high spirits whatever he feels, He shares with music, He expresses all the way through music.

Afzal Sahir

He has been working in Mast Fm 103 radio since 2005...Resilience is the word that comes in the mind when we think of afzal sahir. We all go through pain, misery and hardships in our life but very few are as courageous as Afzal Saahir is because he didn$B!G(Bt give up and decided to move forward in life. This guy is a poet, a magician, a healer , a friend and an ideal of many people in Pakistan and across the globe who understand Punjabi. The meaning and depth attached with his poetry gives us the glimpse of his dynamic personality.

He started his career in early 90$B!G(Bs without knowing that one day thousands of fans ( specially girls) will be anxiously waiting for his show in order to talk to him for few seconds. The journey which started as an editor at a very young age, has now taken different forms and now this man is an inspiration as a radio presenter and as a soulful poet

. It is difficult to say whether he is a good poet or a good RJ, but his role as an RJ has brought him very much closer to the different classes of population. Students , drivers, housewives, working ladies, old age women and men , youngsters and Scholars he is equally popular among all these people. All you have to do is to listen his show once and then you will get addicted to his voice, then it will become an obligation for you to listen to Saahir in order to sleep peacefully. This guy is a great story teller and reads the story in such manner that the listener feels that a film is being played in front of him/her with the complete gravity of the emotions. Afzal has also played an important role in motivating and introducing young talent through his shows as he encourages young singers to sing in his shows and also gives some very healthy criticism to the new singers and poets.. Three words that describe this man are spontaneity , great sense of humor and humbleness. His voice is a combination of softness, a bit of attitude, loads of sweetness and a touch of harmony. There is nothing like listening to his show "Naal Sajan De Rahiye" in the cold and foggy nights when there is no other voice but the only existing voice is of Afzal Saahir and his fabulous collection of music and poetry.

It is very difficult to manage to extremes like non stop humor and serious sensible discussions, but Saahir knows how to do this as at one point in his show he will sound as the most knowledgeable man on this planet and the very second minute the very funny and witty saahir comes into play.His poetry in itself talks about the bitter realities of life. He has talked about different things like pain of a women, selfishness, double standards of the society, hypocrisy etc with such an ease that no other poet of his time is able to do. Well there a huge contradiction when it comes to his poetry and his smile because if you read his poetry you might think that this man is extremely depressive but on the other hand his smile is full of life and gives hope to thousands of people worldwide.

Qudoos Mastana

When he says ‘Is dhanday main Bohat Purana’ he is not joking. Qudoos has been in the radio industry since 1998. He took his start from Lahore and did English shows. You might know him by some other name too :)

In 2003, he decided to leave for London for further studies. He enrolled in Bachelors in Music and Media Managements and has worked for one of London’s biggest desi radio stations. Alongside that he is also doing shows for a London based rock radio station.He was visiting Pakistan when he got involved with Mast FM 103 and loves it here!....His ideology is to live and let live, and have some cheeky fun along the way.

She has been with 103 fm since December 2009…She was born in Faisalabad on 5th of Jan. After having many twists in education fields & subjects finally interest, learn and acquire made her to switch her educational career to Mass Communication. Journalism is her aim in fact more than a goal it’s her passion. She tries to put her thoughts into words to convey to others what she thinks.
